The steep wooded site with its two ponds, waterfalls, and mature trees is the setting for this 3500 SF wood clapboard house. The previous structure was demolished; keeping only the stone chimney, which became the focus of a paved courtyard around which the three cottages are grouped: main house, guest quarters and small garage. While Zoning Codes dictated utilizing the previous building’s footprint, the new design completely reorganized the interior. Entry is via a glassed in breezeway leading out to the deck, to guest rooms on the left and to the right, the double height living room oriented to the south with French doors facing east and west.

The kitchen/ dining area faces north onto two decks and the upper pond. The master bedroom suite with study are located above.
